Cwmafan Music Festival Weekend- The Blockheads and The Karrots - May27 -28

The 1901 Roadshow is returning  to the Cwmafan Music Festival in 2017.... Last year 2016 was great fun and we had a blast selling out of the Landed Design... The Cwmafan Music festival is now in its 7th Year and it is growing every time.... in 2017 Organiser Phillip Samuel has persuaded the Blockheads to come to the Afan Valley and they headline the Saturday Night - expect classics such as Sex n Drugs and Rock n Roll, Wake up Make Love to Me, Spasticus Autisticus, Hit me with Your rhythm stick to explode into the Cwmafan night... Other bands on the Saturday night Bill include The Pollen Count, Rapha Ghetti, Fire Fences, The Immediate, The Blims - its going...

1901 is proud to announce the new 2017 Lions Tour T-shirt... Every four years The British and Irish Lions take part in the biggest tour in the rugby world... The Lions visit New Zealand, South Africa and Australia in 12 year cycles...Four years ago the Lions with our very own Hibbard and Hook were triumphant in Australia... The Second Coming of Selwyn Jenkins

Due to popular demand The Second Coming of Selwyn Jenkins is coming in April 2017... There have been a few subtle changes from the first edition... The Patrick coat has been replaced by the Bjorn Borg Fila BJ.. The Adidas Italia daps have been upgraded (downgraded?) to Puma States... The Welsh football kit has been changed from the seventies strip, worn by John Toshack, Brian Flynn, Terry Yorath, Dai the Drop, jumping forward a decade to the eighties strip, worn by Mark Hughes, Mark Bowen, Ian Rush, Colin Pascoe and Big Nev... The New 1901 Design also doffs its bucket hat to the Penguins of Aberafan Beach and the Wizards of the Talbot Athletic Ground... Its a 1901 Classic...  Big...

1901 IS BACK IN TOWN...ABERAFAN SHOPPING CENTRE...

San Portablo 1901 is back in town...our stall is opposite Boots in Aberafan Shopping Centre, open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. We're very proud to announce the arrival of the fourth edition San Portablo T-shirt, sweatshirt and hoody, available in all colours and sizes. We want to thank each and everyone one of you for your continued support and belief in 1901 and are avidly looking ahead to a red hot summer with a series of new designs which we think have something interesting to say. Due to popular demand, Selwyn Jenkins is finally getting his dues...the second edition Selwyn JenkinsT-shirt is released on the 15th April and features the 1980's Welsh football home and away...

San Portablo is back in Town

The 1901 Stall is back in town in the heart of San Portablo - the Aberafan Shopping Centre - Come on down and shoot the breeze....    There are a few irons in the fire that you might want to hear about  - the 1901 team went to Berlin in the winter break. Whilst mooching about Alexander Platz, Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, Komische Theatre, Templehof, Mitte. We hooked up with the 1927 Theatre Company over in Berlin. 1927 were commisioned by the Komische Opera House to produce Igor Stravinsky's fantastic Petruska. They produced something which was truly tremendous...an interpretation which is all at once electric and unique, a truly original visual delight. Top, top respect... Penguin hats off to Paul...
