SAN PORTABLO SHAKESPEARE SOCIETY PLAZA T-SHIRT (A design perspective)

It was back in November 2016 when we first started planning a PLAZA t-shirt. For various reasons, it has taken ten months for San Portablo1901 Plaza design to see the light of day. Finally, happily, the T-shirt is now available to buy, in different sizes and colours. For me, having spent the last two decades darting in and out of Port Talbot, of all the buildings still standing in town, it was the iconic Plaza cinema that always caught my eye. PLAZA "BANG" T-SHIRT

    San Portablo 1901 recently produced a new Plaza t-shirt for the cast and crew of a new tv show (called BANG) which finished filming here in San Portablo in early July. The show will air on S4C in September and will be having its premier down at the cinema on Aberafan beach. We did a limited edition of their Plaza t-shirt, (featuring the BANG name in our own San Portablo font, and a gun from the show, positioned on the bill board where our own Shakespeare Society takes pride of place) and still have 7 or 8 sizes left in different colours. These limited edition Plaza t-shirts are not available online but are on sale in the shop....

The Second Coming of Selwyn Jenkins

Due to popular demand The Second Coming of Selwyn Jenkins is coming in April 2017... There have been a few subtle changes from the first edition... The Patrick coat has been replaced by the Bjorn Borg Fila BJ.. The Adidas Italia daps have been upgraded (downgraded?) to Puma States... The Welsh football kit has been changed from the seventies strip, worn by John Toshack, Brian Flynn, Terry Yorath, Dai the Drop, jumping forward a decade to the eighties strip, worn by Mark Hughes, Mark Bowen, Ian Rush, Colin Pascoe and Big Nev... The New 1901 Design also doffs its bucket hat to the Penguins of Aberafan Beach and the Wizards of the Talbot Athletic Ground... Its a 1901 Classic...  Big...

1901 IS BACK IN TOWN...ABERAFAN SHOPPING CENTRE...

San Portablo 1901 is back in town...our stall is opposite Boots in Aberafan Shopping Centre, open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. We're very proud to announce the arrival of the fourth edition San Portablo T-shirt, sweatshirt and hoody, available in all colours and sizes. We want to thank each and everyone one of you for your continued support and belief in 1901 and are avidly looking ahead to a red hot summer with a series of new designs which we think have something interesting to say. Due to popular demand, Selwyn Jenkins is finally getting his dues...the second edition Selwyn JenkinsT-shirt is released on the 15th April and features the 1980's Welsh football home and away...
